For some unknown crazy ass reason, One piece was still screwed up.
But the video's were actually playing smooth, there was no skipping whole scenes or none of that, BUT. I noticed the quality changed again to crappy quality. So i put that back to default on the "best quality" setting.įinally i uninstalled all of my codecs, every single one including my windows 7 codec pack. When i tinkered with that setting, it caused that OP video to speed up even faster or just all around completely freeze. one setting that actually did change it some what was the "mpeg2 video quality setting". That's when i thought it was a setting, so i tried every single setting, used tutorials and everything.
#Ps3 media server freezes ps3
I tweaked around with alot of the settings from the ps3 media server trying to get desired results, thinking that it was a setting that i screwed up.I noticed that the HD OP episodes had a some what slightly different result then the other video's instead of skipping whole entire scenes, it would just slow down for a second and then speed up like it was stuck in fastforward.
#Ps3 media server freezes 720p
I tried all kinds of different formats, avi, mkv, mp4's, all 720p and 480p. Like its stuck on a fastforward mode or something. I noticed a HUGE significant change in the quality, i mean the quality was clean, crisp and there was just absolutely no pix elated picture at all.īut then i noticed when i clicked on a few of the other video's it would just fastforward, or some times i would click on a video and it would skip past the entire opening and play the video. The 3 codec packs were suggested to be used in conjunction with the ps3 media server. In addition i already had the windows 7 codec pack installed. CC codec pack (combined community codec pack), Avisynth, and lastly CoreAVC. I wasn't very pleased with the quality though So i installed some codec packs. In particular, i checked out some 720p res episodes from the series "one piece" from season 13, it was like episodes 459 to 474 or so.
The video appeared pixelleted a bit, not a whole alot but it was noticeable when your trying watch HD episodes in 720p res. The first time i installed it, it was working great, there was no hickups or skips in the video but the quality wasn't the greatest. I'll start by carefully going over everything i did so you can better grasp the situation. I am just having so much issues with getting this thing to work right and ive been at it for hrs, ive tried everything.
